FAQ
Everything brides ask before booking
Not here? Ask on WhatsApp — we answer every question, even the awkward ones.
How early should I book my wedding date?
Peak season in Punjab (November–February and April–May) fills 4–8 months ahead. Book as soon as your date is fixed — a date is confirmed with an advance.
Do you do a trial before the wedding?
Yes. Every bridal booking includes a trial at our Jalandhar studio, usually 2–6 weeks before the wedding. We design the look around your outfit, jewellery and the venue lighting, and note everything down for the day.
HD or airbrush — which should I choose?
HD makeup is hand-applied with HD-grade products and suits most skin types; it is the standard for a flawless yet natural finish. Airbrush sprays a fine mist of foundation for a lighter, longer-wear base that loves humidity and long days. We recommend after seeing your skin at the trial.
Does the price include hair and draping?
Yes — our bridal looks include hairstyling, dupatta or saree draping and a touch-up kit. Family makeup, extra events and travel are added as clear line items.
Do you travel outside Jalandhar?
Yes. We cover all of Punjab — Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Patiala, Pathankot and more — and travel with Punjabi families marrying elsewhere in India. Travel is quoted transparently.
How long does bridal makeup take?
Plan 2.5–3 hours for the bride (hair, makeup and draping), and about 45 minutes per family member. We agree a timeline with your photographer so the look is finished exactly when the cameras start.
Will the makeup last through a long day and dancing?
Yes. Long-wear, sweat-resistant products, proper skin prep and setting mean the look lasts 12–16 hours. We leave a touch-up kit and, for full-day bookings, an artist stays with you.
Do you specialise in Punjabi weddings?
Yes — that is all we do. Anand Karaj mornings and pheras, chooda and kaleere, chunni setting for matha tek, jaggo nights and maiyan. We know the rituals, the timings and what each ceremony needs from your makeup and hair.
Do you do groom makeup?
Yes, and grooms love it — natural, invisible grooming for Punjabi grooms that evens the skin, tidies the beard and sits perfectly under a dastaar or sehra.
What products do you use?
Professional, long-wear, skin-safe products from trusted international and Indian professional brands, chosen for Indian skin tones and the Punjab climate. Tell us about any allergies or sensitive skin at the trial.
Can you do makeup for my mother, sisters and bhabhis too?
Absolutely. Family and bridesmaid makeup is done at the same location so everyone is ready together. Group rates apply.
What is your booking and cancellation policy?
A date is reserved with an advance. The balance is due before the wedding day. Advances are non-refundable close to the date, but we are flexible about rescheduling where our calendar allows.
Do you also do engagement, mehndi, sangeet and reception looks?
Yes — roka, mehndi, maiyan, jaggo, wedding and reception each get their own look. Multi-event packages keep the same artists with you from roka to reception and cost less than booking day by day.
